Energy Efficient

Older appliances can do more than just not function properly, they can also be costing you more money on your gas and electric bills. Replacing them with new energy efficient models will give you access to the latest improvements and features while also reducing the cost of your monthly home budget. Not only that, if you purchased your home before you had children or when you were first starting a family the size of your refrigerator, microwave and even your oven may no longer be sufficient. Increasing the storage capacity of your refrigerator and upgrading to an industrial refrigerator will allow you to buy in larger qualities and stock up on frequently used items. This will also save you money on fewer trips to the store by having the ability to buy in bulk.

The Cost of a Remodel

Depending on the space and whether or not you are knocking down walls, a kitchen makeover can run anywhere from $15,000.00 and up. However, if you upgrade and bring in stainless steel appliances, granite, natural stone or quartz countertops and state of the art cabinets the price can climb considerably, but the resale value after years of enjoyment may just be worth it. Before actually breaking ground on it, it’s important to remember that not everyone has the same taste. If you stick with neutral colors and add your taste in removable accessories, your chances are better for attracting potential buyers.

If your budget does not allow for the extreme makeover replacing countertops and upgrading to stainless steel, energy-efficient appliances will still attract buyers. Many companies specialize in restoring older cabinets with refacing. They offer the same appeal only here you can cut your costs without compromising on comfort and convenience. Down the road, if your budget warrants and you really want new cabinets, you can always replace them. In the meantime, you still get your new kitchen with the modern features and luxury appearance at a fraction of the cost.

When people look to buy a home, most spend time combing over the kitchen and bathroom. They check for the condition, age and efficiency. They also want to feel they have freedom of movement and not worry about bumping elbows with a family member when there are two or more present at one time.

A kitchen is more than a place to prepare meals. It’s the central hub in most homes. A place where families discuss the day’s events, where children bake cupcakes and friends and relatives enjoy conversations. Having a place that offers you the space you want and the conveniences you need is important. It makes your time in the kitchen enjoyable and memorable.
