National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) is a national level medical entrance examination. Previously, NEET was known as AIPMT and since last year, NEET was known as AIPMT. The government on order of Supreme Court, scrapped down the AIPMT along with each individual state entrance examination, and introduced NEET.
In 2016, NEET was conducted in 2 phases due to the confusion from the government, but from 2017 NEET will be the only acceptable medical entrance exam.
NEET examination is a 720 marks exam, with 45 questions each for Physics and Chemistry and 90 questions for Biology and Botany combined. Each of these questions are 4 marks and for every wrong answer, there’ll be a negative marking of 1 mark.
Students understand, learn, practice for the entire year but still struggle to get questions right in the exam. There are many reasons for this, the most common out of these are lack of confidence, careless mistakes, lack of revision and paper solving.
It’s like practicing the game of cricket every day on your back yard and on the day of the match you have to pad up, walk up to the pitch and fight against the other team in a stadium. Even though you have worked hard and practiced batting, bowling and fielding. you will not be able to perform there. The same is the case with your examination.
